School Support

Fall 2020 School Support Program

We are excited to offer a new program to support families that are in a bind due to their children’s schooling being moved online. Our new offering will provide elementary age children with space & support to complete their online school work in a supervised setting.

Elementary age students are welcome to join us on days they will not be physically attending school, but are still required to accomplish schoolwork. Some schools may be all virtual, and some may offer a combination of in-person instruction with remote learning. On days they are not in school, send them to us! We will support their education in a structured, supervised setting.

Ages & Hours

Elementary age children who have all or part of their schooling conducted online, from 1-5 days per week.
Core Hours will be 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Before / after care will be available for an additional charge, 7:00 to 8:30 AM and 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

School Time

Students will provide items and devices that are needed to complete their work (laptop, ipad, headphones, text books, etc.). We will help them connect to their classes and complete their lessons.
We will provide internet connection and access to a printer if needed.
We will offer adult supervision during class time. Parents must include the daily online class schedule for their child’s schooling each day.
Students will bring their own lunch and we will provide free snacks.
Quiet time will be provided to allow for homework or reading time.
We will have recreation time in the gym or outside daily. We will be flexible, since we don’t yet know what each student’s schedule will look like.

Coronavirus-Related Protocols

The student desk / work areas will be spaced appropriately for social distancing
Masks will be required for students and staff
We will operate fans to enhance air circulation
All children’s temperatures will be checked daily
We follow both the State of Pennsylvania and CDC guidelines that pertain to child care facilities, and we will use the same procedures for our elementary age children.

Cost

Core Hours / Pre & Post Care

1 Day a Week – $50/$20
2 Days a Week – $90/$40
3 Days a Week – $132/$60
4 Days a Week – $170/$70
5 Days a Week – $199/$80

*We reserve the right to determine days of offering based on the level of interest.

*We will cut off enrollment when we reach capacity.
