Childcare

GROUP SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field
• B.S. in any field, with the addition of 30 Hours in early childhood education,  child development, special education, elementary education or humans services field
• Associates degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or humans services field and two-years experience with children
• Associated degree in any field, with the addition of 30 Hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or humans services field

ASSISTANT GROUP SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED certification and 30-hours from an accredited college or universityin early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field
• High school diploma or GED certification, including 600 or more hours of secondary trainingas described in the Department of Human Services (DHS) Manual
• High school diploma or GED certification, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field and one-year of experience with children
• High school diploma or GED certification and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum described in the DHS Manual
• High school diploma or GED certification and two-years experience with children

Dance & Gymnastics

GYMNASTICS COACH:

• Individual participation of at least 10 years in gymnastics
• Coaching experience between one to five years
• Must have detailed knowledge of all gymnastics apparatus Floor, Beam, Vault and Bars
• Must be comfortable providing hand-on spotting and instructions for children starting at age three and continuing through high school
• Well versed in gymnastic terminology
• Must be able to work evening hours
• May be required to travel weekends with competitive teams

DANCE INSTRUCTOR:

• Individual participation of at least 10 years in a variety of dances, ballet preferred
• Teaching experience of one to five years
• Must have detailed knowledge of ballet / dance terminology
• Must be able to teach a variety of classes – ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop
• Strong in the development of choreography
• Must be able to work evenings
• Comfortable teaching children starting at age three and continuing through high school
• Willingness to participate in weekend dance performances and competitions
